Who we are
We do one thing: turn the natural gum of the Acacia senegal tree into clean, consistent Arabic gum, in whole nodules or milled powder.
Village Valley Resources is a specialised Arabic gum factory in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia. We do not trade a catalogue of ingredients: as standard we buy one raw material, Hashab gum from the Sudan gum belt, and we process it ourselves.
Gum arabic is a natural product, and natural products vary. Nodules differ in colour, size and cleanliness from tree to tree and season to season. Our job is to take that variation out: inspection, cleaning, sorting, crushing, milling and sieving all happen in-house, so the powder in one sack behaves like the powder in the next.
Because we control the milling, we can make the gum in the form a product actually needs: whole nodules, a coarse cut, a fine powder for beverages, or a granulated instant grade that dissolves quickly. Blends with fruit extracts or probiotic cultures are developed on the same line.
When a lot needs testing it goes to an external laboratory recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Health rather than to a laboratory of our own, and we say so. What we publish about our gum is what we can show.

Cleaning, sorting, crushing, milling and sieving are all done in our facility in Rawang, not subcontracted, which is how batch-to-batch consistency is kept.
80 mesh is the standard; coarser or finer grinds are made to specification, and instant grades are granulated rather than spray-dried.
Where your specification requires a lot analysis, it is carried out by an external laboratory recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Health, and the report that laboratory issues is the one that governs.
