Common questions
Frequently asked questions
The questions that come up in almost every first conversation, answered without the sales language.
If your question is not here, send it to our sales desk — the list grows from what buyers actually ask.
Ordering and commercial terms
What is your minimum order quantity?
Raw gum arabic and milled powder start at 1,000 kg. Finished private-label products start at 5,000 units. Both minimums exist so a new customer can qualify us without committing to a full container.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
FOB Port Klang, CIF and CFR to your named destination port, and DDP delivered to your address. Ex Works is available on request. We will quote whichever your procurement process uses.
How quickly do you respond to a quotation request?
Within 24 hours on working days, with pricing, lead time, packing detail and the documentation set that applies to your destination market.
What are your lead times?
Samples ship in 5–7 working days. Production runs 21–30 days from a confirmed purchase order, plus ocean transit to your port.
Can I order a trial quantity before committing?
Yes. That is what the 1,000 kg and 5,000 unit minimums are for. We would rather you qualified us on a small order than took a large risk on a first purchase.
Product and specification
Which species of acacia do you supply?
Acacia senegal — the grade known in Sudan as Hashab. The species is stated on the quotation, the specification and the Certificate of Analysis, so there is no ambiguity about what arrives.
Can you mill to a specific mesh?
Yes. We mill our own cleaned raw material, so mesh is a specification we set rather than one we inherit from a third-party processor. Send us the particle size your process needs.
Is your gum arabic food grade?
Yes. It is supplied as food-grade material carrying additive code E414 / INS 414, released against a Certificate of Analysis per production lot.
Do you supply a Certificate of Analysis?
With every production lot. We can also send a CoA from a recent lot during qualification, before you order, so you can check it against your incoming specification.
Is the product non-GMO and allergen-free?
Gum arabic is a natural tree exudate — non-GMO, gluten-free and free from the common declarable allergens. Written statements are supplied with the documentation set.
Shipping, documentation and compliance
What documentation travels with a shipment?
Certificate of Analysis, Certificate of Origin, halal certificate, commercial invoice and packing list as standard. Health or free-sale certificates, phytosanitary certificates and document legalisation are added where the destination requires them.
Do you have halal certification?
Yes, supplied as standard with every shipment. It covers the manufacturing facility and the specific product, which is what GCC authorities look for.
Can you handle Arabic labelling?
Yes, and we recommend building it into the artwork at origin rather than applying stickers after arrival. Arabic labelling is mandatory for retail products across the GCC.
Which port do you ship from?
Port Klang, Malaysia. Transit is roughly 14–18 days to Jebel Ali, 18–24 days to Jeddah or Dammam, and longer to Europe and North America.
Do you ship outside the Gulf?
Yes. The Gulf is our commercial priority, but we ship to Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Levant on the same terms and with the same documentation discipline.
Private label and custom manufacturing
Do you offer private label manufacturing?
Yes. Your artwork, your formulation if you want one developed, produced and filled in our own facility. Programmes start at 5,000 units.
Can you develop a custom formulation?
Yes. Our in-house R&D team develops the formulation — fibre load, probiotic strains and counts, flavour system — and you receive the full ingredient declaration before anything is manufactured.
What formats can you fill?
Stick sachets, retail cartons and stand-up pouches. The standard finished format is a carton of 20 × 15 g sticks; alternatives are available for OEM programmes.
Who owns the formulation you develop for me?
That is agreed in writing before development starts. We would rather have that conversation at the beginning than discover a difference of expectation after launch.
How many sample rounds do I get?
As many as the product needs. Nothing is scheduled for production until you have approved a pre-production sample in writing.
Still deciding?
Send us the application and the volume you are planning for. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right supplier for it.
